The Nekoosa Giant Pumpkin Fest would like the giant fruit and vegetables to stay on display through Sunday. If there is an issue with entries staying on site, the grower is to contact the Event Coordinator to make alternate arrangements.
Event Coordinators are Bill Kaberle (715)570-7133, Merle Cochran (715)323-4533, or email to: nekoosagiantpumpkinfest@gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing all of the GIANT fruit and vegetables, and hopefully we will see a NEW state record set!

Because of Hwy. 73 reconstruction between the south end of Nekoosa to the junction of Hwy. 54 at Port Edward's, we are not sure yet on actual arrival procedures for our Saturday October 5 weighoff. Arrivals as early as possible are requested. We plan to start unloading at 7:00 a.m., unless road reconstruction dictates otherwise. We would have someone available to unload Friday evening, by appointment, as long as unloading would be complete by 8;00p.m.
As soon as we know more road reconstruction info, Facebook and website will be updated.
